Let’s be honest.
If you’re putting your time, your business, and your sanity in someone else’s hands—even through a system like DROP—you’ve got every right to ask:
Who the hell are you to teach this?
What makes you qualified?
Why should I trust you over the other 10 gurus shouting online?
And here’s the unfiltered truth:
I never set out to become a productivity expert.
I set out to survive.
This Didn’t Start as a Passion Project. It Started as Self-Preservation.
Over the last 12 years, I’ve been on what some might call a “journey” in time management and productivity.
But let’s call it what it really was:
- Scrambling for control
- Searching for answers
- Holding myself together when the wheels were falling off
Not to be a better coach.
Not to write a book.
Not to make content.
I did it for entirely selfish reasons. Because I was drowning.
I Read Everything. Not to Teach. Just to Cope.
Productivity books.
Time management frameworks.
Neuroscience studies.
Psychology white papers.
Coaching philosophies.
Behavioural science.
Habits. Memory. Focus. Attention. Discipline.
I devoured it all.
Not with a business goal. Not to monetise it.
I studied more than most—but never in a classroom and never with a plan.
I was trying to rebuild my brain while leading teams, raising kids, and running on empty.
I had to figure out how to stay sane in the chaos.
So I made it my job to understand time.
How it works. Why we waste it. How to reclaim it.
I Lived What I Now Teach
- I’ve burned out.
- I’ve worked 65+ hour weeks.
- I’ve missed key moments with my kids.
- I’ve woken up at 2am for weeks on end in panic loops.
- I’ve said yes too often, tried to do too much, and paid the price.
- I’ve felt the guilt of being present but mentally absent.
And I know what it’s like to sit with that at 3am thinking:
“There’s got to be another way.”
There was.
I built it.
The DROP System Was Never Meant for Anyone But Me
When it started, DROP wasn’t even called DROP.
It was a mess of scribbles.
A notebook.
A way to get shit out of my head and stop the spiral.
It helped me breathe.
It gave me perspective.
It became a weekly rhythm that worked—even when everything else didn’t.
It wasn’t neat.
It wasn’t for sale.
It was my system. For me.
And it saved me.
Then Everything Shifted—Because of My Daughters
At first, I built it to survive.
Then I realised I needed it to be the kind of father I wanted to be.
I’d already lost three years with my first daughter.
Present in body, absent in mind.
Fooling myself that bedtime stories made up for missing everything else.
Then my second daughter was born during the pandemic—and that became the line in the sand.
I stood up for paternity leave.
I got pushback.
I traded it for two weeks of home working.
And when I returned, I’d been quietly replaced.
That moment broke me.
And it also gave me clarity.
I needed to build a life that would never let time slip away like that again. Not for me. Not for them.
So DROP became the legacy I’d pass on.
A way for my daughters to always stay in control of their time.
To know they’re enough.
To live intentionally.
And to never feel they need to burn themselves out to succeed.
Only Now—After All That—Is It Something I Share With the World
It was never supposed to be a product.
It was never supposed to be a movement.
I didn’t write the book for fame. I wrote it because this system works.
And after coaching client after client through chaos, overwhelm, burnout, and everything in between—I saw something familiar.
They weren’t broken.
They were just stuck.
Just like I was.
DROP helped them breathe again.
So I decided to share it.
Not because I needed to. But because I knew others did.
So What’s My Background in Productivity?
- 12+ years of survival-based self-study
- Real business leadership—not theory
- Dozens of books, white papers, and research studies devoured without obligation
- Lived experience running three businesses, writing books, parenting two kids, hosting events, and staying married
- A relentless obsession with finding systems that work under real-world pressure
- And a decision to finally share the thing that changed my life
Not a certificate.
Not a TED Talk.
Not a four-step funnel.
Just a rhythm that actually works.
DROP Is the Culmination of Every Win, Loss, Mistake, and Discovery
It’s not perfect.
But it’s real.
And it’s built to be used—not just read about.
It helps you:
- Dump the chaos out of your brain
- Review what actually matters
- Offload what’s stealing your time
- Plan a week you’ll actually follow
Whether you’re neurodivergent, neurotypical, high-flying, or holding it all together with caffeine and grit—DROP meets you where you are.
Ready to Learn From Someone Who’s Actually Lived This Shit?
I don’t pretend to have it all figured out.
But I’ve been to the edge.
And I’ve walked myself back with the help of a pen, a plan, and a system that finally stuck.
If you’re tired of pretending a new app will fix your life…
If you’ve read all the books but still wake up overwhelmed…
If you want to build a life you can actually breathe in…
